1 September 2015, Hotel Westin, Zagreb
TMA Croatia has organised the presentation of the book: Challenges of the New Insolvency Act - Closing Gaps or Opening Loopholes? on the day that the new Insolvency Act entered into the force. In the book, Mirna Marović, the volume's editor and lead author, has pooled experts to present the changes introduced by the new insolvency act from the perspective of the legal, economic, financial and operational novelties of the law. In this book, experts from a diverse range of fields discuss the direct consequences of the act and offer recommendations and constructive critiques. The project's objective is to see this publication serve as a practical handbook for all interested parties to proceedings, the legislator, the academic community and the professional community in general. The book is also valuable in that it can serve as a template for further discussion aimed at improving the application of insolvency law and putting it even more at the service of the economy.
